Ebola Flash Seminar Organized by Global Health Students to Teach GMU Community About the Disease

November 10, 2014 - On November 6th, 2014, the Global Health Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) co-hosted with the GMU Student Government Association, a Flash Ebola Seminar in the Johnson Center. This seminar featured Dr. Kathryn Jacobsen, epidemiologist and researcher, who answered students’ questions on the Ebola virus. Dr. Jacobsen discussed where the virus originated from, the symptoms the virus may cause, how it is transmitted, and much more.
