Biography
Rooshna Mohsin holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey. Her academic foundation laid the groundwork for a strong career in public health, focusing on data-driven approaches to addressing health disparities. Mohsin has gained extensive experience through positions at the New Jersey Department of Health, The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey, Ocean County Health Department, and the Greater Newark Health Care Coalition. In these positions, Mohsin contributed to health data analysis, quality improvement initiatives, and public health surveillance, honing her skills in statistical analysis, data visualization, and health data management.
With research interests in environmental and reproductive epidemiology, Mohsin is dedicated to understanding the impact of environmental exposures on population health, particularly in vulnerable communities. She is passionate about applying her expertise, aiming to inform public health interventions and policies that address health disparities and improve health outcomes.
