Students have the opportunity to participate in several organizations during their academic careers at Mason, including:
All Students in Global and Community Health (BS, MPH, MS, PhD)
- Delta Omega is the national honorary society in public health that recognizes top students graduating with a degree in GCH. Membership is by invitation only.
Doctoral Students
- Doctoral Public Health Graduate Student Association (DPHGSA) creates opportunities to network with peers, supports professional development, and engages in public health community service activities. DPHGSA provides a platform to advocate for doctoral student public health researchers. DPHGSA acts as an interface for public health doctoral students to collaborate with researchers within and outside of Mason. Membership is open to doctoral students conducting health-related research from any department across campus.
Masters Students
- Graduate Students for Public Health (GSPH) is the student organization for all MPH, MS, and public health certificate students. GSPH provide its members with networking, community service opportunities, and professional development activities.
Undergraduate Students
- Patriots for Public Health is designed to bring public health awareness to George Mason University through educational events, speakers, and community involvement. It is open to all undergraduate students at Mason who have an interest in public health.
